Jasper, Georgia Wedding Photography
Taylor and David, an engineer and college professor from Texas, made the journey to Georgia to tie the knot at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church which is nestled in the foothills of the North GA mountains. From our initial phone calls and meetings, I knew that photographing their wedding was going to be special. I couldn't wait to walk with them to their journey of marriage together!
We began the day with getting ready photographs in the church with Taylor, and I met David outside the church in the portico where I had the pleasure of meeting is mom and seeing his red motorcycle, which they had shipped here for some fun times in the mountains during their stay.
The beautiful, historic church made the perfect backdrop for their sacred ceremony, and the June light streaming in through the stained glass windows was just perfect. The sanctuary was filled with music, the chatter of the guests, and reverence from the priests. I eventually learned that the Father who presided over the ceremony was one of David's mentors in college and I enjoyed hearing about their relationship and friendship over the years.
After the ceremony, we headed to downtown Jasper, Georgia to The Conservancy where the reception would be held. Taylor and David shared their first dance, there was a beautiful spread of food, and the guests mingled and laughed as the reception progressed.
It was a stunning June day for Taylor and David's wedding. Thank you so much for having me and I wish you both nothing but the very best!
